The rationale of the Freedom knee is to accommodate high flexion with minimal bone resection. The CoCr femoral component is engineered to accommodate changes in rollback across the transition, from walking through deep flexion.

The anatomical CR and PS femoral components are cemented with a thin anterior flange offering predictable patella femoral tracking to achieve optimum functionality of the knee extensor mechanism thus reducing anterior knee pain & giving predictable femoral roll back. 

The PS design has an asymmetrical cam which helps to mimic the kinematics of the native knee and offers additional stability in deep flexion.

The symmetrical tibial base plate is available in metal backed and all-poly options with a keel.

Instruments and jigs are easy to use with options of both intra- and extra-medullary guides for the tibia.
